The ACE Plan consists of an introductory workshop and the implemetation of the ACE Plan process. The ACE plan is a comprehensive school transformational process that examines school structures, strategies and supports to increase college readiness. This plan can be adapted to focus on one ethnic group and/or your school-wide population. Phases 2 and 3 address research based findings and recommendations, strategic plan development and implementation, and sustainability (approach, analysis and results).
ACE PLAN WORKSHOP
This half-day workshop is designed for counselors, coordinators, administrators in grades 9-12, Community Based Organizations (CBOs) and Post Secondary staff.
Our staff collaborates with district and school leadership teams to address educational inequities and to develop equitable comprehensive 3-5 year plans to increase college readiness for their students. The plan can be adapted to focus on one or multiple ethnic groups or your school-wide population.
Students will benefit from an equitable structured school environment that supports and guides their learning. Students will be encouraged and supported in taking college preparatory and/or advanced placement courses.
We provide a portfolio of expert content trainers for new and experienced administrators, teachers, counselors, CBO and college/university enrollment staff. Our trainers provide teachers with high quality training, consulting, and professional coaching with content knowledge that is current, culturally relevant and easily assimilated into their daily practice. We provide face-to-face and online professional development.
We provide districts/schools with a variety of instructional strategies, tools and protocols to determine the best professional development offerings across a variety of areas, included, but not limited to:
A. Leadership training for equity and access on ACT®, AP®, Pre-AP®, PSAT 8/9®, PSAT/NMSQT®, and SAT® content knowledge and exam administration
B. California School Dashboard and System of Support
C. U.S. and International Content Standards Training
D. Teacher AP content area training and exam administration policies and procedures
E. Teacher Pre-AP CORE content training
F. Counselor/guidance staff equitable college access training, exam administration, policies, procedures and best practice for effectively implementing exams
Our trainers will share expert content knowledge, research, pedagogy, supports and resources, e.g., pacing charts, rubrics, performance data, best practices to scaffold and address gaps in student knowledge, grading policies, equity policies/procedures, online resources/supports and curriculum examples that are proven to be effective when working with diverse student populations.

Costs for the ACE Plan vary based on Phases 1, 2 or 3. Phase 1 consists of 40 hours (1 week) working with district/school for a cost of $10,000 per district/school; Phase 2 - 240 hours (six weeks) for a cost of $60,000 per district/school; and Phase 3 - 40 hours (one week) for a cost of $10,000 per district/school.
The costs for the ACE Plan is very competitive based on our collaborative model of working with the district/school team members along with our team throughout the entire process. For example, academic and standardized assessment data, teacher surveys and school artifacts are collected and analyzed in advance saving costs and valuable time.
