Overview:
The Binomial Theorem is a student’s best friend, but they don’t quite know that yet. Looking at figures that seem foreign or inapplicable to everyday life is a challenge for students sometimes. So, we are going to give you tools to better understand and teach this fun and fundamental calculus application to empower your students throughout their calculus journeys.

Participants Will:
This one-day workshop will provide teachers with the skills to assist their students to know and apply the Binomial Theorem for the expansion of (x + y) to the n power in powers of x and y for a positive integer n, where x and y are any numbers, with coefficients determined for example by Pascal's Triangle.
