6 hours (1 Day Workshop)

Overview:
Tone is everything, but it’s not always easy understanding a writer’s intent. Join us for this immersive workshop about understanding the author’s purpose and tone. We will explore methodologies for extracting meaning from passages and understanding the author’s goals. Instructors will be better equipped to teach students how to decode advanced level passages and get ready to tackle college level reading. This workshop is great for teachers interested in supporting students in both English and Social Science classes.
